SALPROTM 2500 is a highly-concentrated liquid product containing a formulation of formic and propionic acids in combination with sodium formate. The product has been formulated to control and prevent the proliferation of Salmonella, E. coli, Campylobacter and other pathogenic bacteria in feedstuffs and compound feed.

  • Prevents recontamination of feed by pathogenic bacteria.
  • Reduces the risk of pathogen contamination to humans and replacement stocks.
  • Decreases the environmental load of nitrogen and phosphorus.

User-friendly SALPROTM offers a formaldehyde free, alternative to traditional anti-bacterial products. With proprietary buffering, SALPROTM 2500 has an equipment friendly 95% less corrosivity when compared to similar mixes of formic acid and propionic acid.
